I have been playing with the gorgeous new Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. There are so many ways creating with this bundle and I discovered some Tips that might help you when creating with this yourself.

I put together a video to share 5 Ways creating with these Stamps, Dies and Embossing Folder and point out some things to look out for when using them.

If you don’t have the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle some of the ideas may work with other Butterfly stamps and dies you have so check them out.

I will share the cards more over the coming weeks in separate but for now follow along with the video.

BEAUTIFUL BOKEH BUTTERFLIES CARDS

I have been playing a lot with the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle along with the Beautiful Bokeh Paper. They are a pretty combination together.

For some simple cards I embossed the paper with the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. I love the depth of texture you get with this folder. The paper gives you the Bokeh effect without creating the mess doing the technique.

These are 2 of the colours. A Balmy Blue look and Calypso Coral.

Then there is this one a little more blue and Fresh Freesia showing on the pattern.

I diecut 3 butterflies in white card to add to the card with a simple HELLO Sentiment. This was cut with the Perennial Postage Dies. Simple but sweet cards. We made this as one of our cards in class last week.

Stampin' Up!

BOOK-BINDING FUN FOLD FOR ESAD MINI CATALOGUE AND SALE-A-BRATION BLOGHOP!

We have welcomed in the 2025 Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration. It’s an exciting time with lots of great new products. Today I’m joining in with the ESAD Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop. Thanks for joining in with us.

Firstly, what is ESAD?

For our project today I have used the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper available as a bonus choice for Sale-A-Bration and created a Book-Binding Fold Card. They are so easy to make and the paper makes it so fun!

The sentiment is from the Bright Borders Stamp Set from the Mini Catalogue and punched out with the To The Point Label Punch.

I created another version of this card and will show that to you in my next post and share more details on how to make them. So be sure to check back.

WHITE HOLLY BACKGROUND WITH REINDEER FUN DIES!

Did you know you can create your own textured background with dies?

For this card I diecut lots of white Berries and Holly leaves from the Reindeer Fun Dies and adhered these together. Then I added them to a white card mat. It adds a subtle texture.

Here’s how to Create this effect:

Diecut lots of Holly Leaves and Berries from the dies on white card.
Adhere the Holly and Berries together.
Lay all the Holly/Berry pieces out on the white card mat to position them how you like. Have some overhanging the edges.
Adhere them down to the card mat. Turn over the card and trim off the overhanging pieces.

Then complete the card as you like.

I added a strip of Reindeer Days Paper and a strip of the Green Glimmer Paper along with the bells coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I finished it off with a bow from the Real Red and Gold Ribbon.

Try this idea with some dies you have. It takes a little diecutting and sticking together but it is a fun way to use them.

WEEK 10 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS – INKED EMBOSSED TECHNIQUE!

Well this is an Oops!

Recently I posted our Week 11 project for 12 Weeks of Christmas – and I just realized Week 10 project was still sitting in the Drafts Folder! SO you all missed out. So sorry. So we might be out of order but here is our Week 10 project. Be ready for our last project later this week.

Week 10 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas Series. This week’s card uses a fun technique to add extra detail. It’s the Partial Inked, Embossed Technique.

This is the card.

I have used the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. The technique is inking part of the Embossing Folder and embossing the card. You can follow along in the video below.

The paper strip is from the A little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Holly is from the Reindeer Fun Dies and the sentiment from the Reindeer Fun Stamp Set.

We are coming to the end of the Christmas series. Hope they have inspired you. Check back on my blog for the past ones if you missed them.
