COLOURED SIMPLE STIPPLED ROSES!

I shared a simple card recently with the Simple Stippled Roses stamps with no colouring on it. I ventured in to colouring with this card. 

I don’t colour a lot. I have to say these flowers took a LONG time to colour. Longer than I probably should have. I just wanted to get them right. Still not sure but in the end I left it as it is.

I wanted to have them overhang the edge of the card so I cut off half of the front of the card. The paper on the front is the Perennial Lavender Paper.

You can see how they overhang on the inside. I stamped on the white card mat too. Unfortunately you can see the colouring on the back of the roses. I didn’t really think about that at the time.

This is the card laying flat so you can see it. (The lighting was a little different with this one apologies for that).

Stampin' Up!

SIMPLE STIPPLED ROSES!

I’m not a great lover of colouring. I do try and I know practice makes perfect right. I have been playing with the Stippled Roses stamps and dies. 

One of the cards I created is a simple card stamping the rose and no colouring. The detail in the stamp makes it so easy to just showcase this lovely bloom.

I have stamped it in Wild Wheat. Really I wasn’t too fussed on this colour when it first came out BUT… I have used it so much. 

The paper mat behind the rose is the Softly Stippled Paper which is available as a Free gift for Sale-A-Bration with orders over $90 AUD. There are so many lovely prints in this pack. 

The black sentiment piece makes it all POP too.

TRUSTY TOOLS BUNDLE FOR THE GLOBAL MINI CATALOGUE LAUNCH!

With the new Mini Catalogue released last week I was part of the Crafty Collaborations Mini Catalogue Launch Party. Demonstrators from around the world shared project videos of some of the great new products.

It was so great to be a part of it. You can follow along now too and maybe be inspired by the projects. I will tell you how to find it but firstly let me show you the project I created.

I worked with the Trusty Tools Bundle creating a Split Front Card.

Perhaps you have made this style before?

How cool is the Trusty Tools though. I love the Trusty Toolbox paper. That is one of the free choices for Sale-A-Bration. Some of the dies will diecut some of the tools.

In the Mini Catalogue Launch there are 28 project videos. Also though there are fun games to join in on. You can choose what you like to do and can come back to it later at any time.

Back with Sunday Suites today and one of my favourites – the Perennial Lavender Suite.

The Painted Lavender Bundle has the dies that you can diecut many of the flower images and has extra leaf dies for you to diecut to layer on your projects.

The Perennial Postage Bundle has the dies with Postage stamp style edges. They are great for Diecutting and layering images. I love these die shapes.

The Perennial Postage Designer Series Paper is 12 – 12″x12″ sheets. 2 each of 6 patterns. So gorgeous!

The colours are Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Lost Lagoon, Orchid Oasis, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, Starry Sky

The Paper Butterfly Accents contain 40 paper diecut butterflies. 8 each of 5 sizes. The largest piece measures 2-3/4″ x 2-1/2″ (7 x 6.4 cm). The Smallest piece: 1-7/8″ x 1-1/4″ (4.8 x 3.2 cm).
